Office Coordinator Position 

The Fort McMurray Golden Years Society has a full time Office Coordinator position available.

Position Description:

  • Monday – Friday    9-5
  • Interacting with seniors at the Centre
  • Tracking office and societies income and expenses
  • Communicate daily, weekly and monthly activities to members
  • Update social media ie: Facebook and website
  • Assist with identifying and submitting grant applications
  • Accept and track payments for social activities
  • Interacting with, invoicing and tracking rental groups usage  

The Office Coordinator is the first line of contact for our Society. You will interact with people in a friendly, courteous manner while maintaining confidentiality. You will ensure that monetary transactions are tracked and reported monthly to the Board. You will be responsible to communicate information to the members through various electronic forms including a monthly newsletter.

Position Qualifications/Skills:

  • Simply Accounting - good working knowledge
  • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point etc. 
  • Social media / website maintenance experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Work with minimal direct supervision
  • Able to multitask in a changing environment
